Sounds like its the one that goes to the Amal Valve but can't remember what order they go in. Some one else should know the order. One goes to the Air flow meter, one goes to the turbo & the last one goes to the actuator
Sounds like the pipe that comes from the tubo to the amal valve There are three pipes which attach to the Amal valve, each pipe is marked by a letter on the Amal valve, C(middle) comes from the turbo housing, W(top) goes to the actuator, R(bottom) goes to the airbox hope this helps

had a look and found another smaller pipe about half a foot long which is in between the bottom pipe which goes to the intercooler and the top pipe which goe to the air filter..... this is the pipe which i dont know about????? any ideas
RS babe,
You should have 2 pipes coming off your turbo, one off the compressor housing and one off the actuator. they should both go to a valve on top of the gearbox which has 3 ports on it (amal valve). On the amak valve there is 3 ports labelled up as such...
C which needs the pipe to the compressor housing on it
W which needs the pipe to the wastegate actuator on it
R which needs a return pipe to the fuel metering unit on it.
The bleed valve should REPLACE the amal valve and should have 3 ports on it otherwise it will cause runing problems...
Hope that helps.

Quick question while your on the subject of amal valves!
should they be fixed to the gear box with a bracket or something? because mine just hangs on the end of the three pipes and bangs about under the bonnet?

rsbabe666,
You should have two large pipes that come off your turbo ONE FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE COMPRESSOR HOUSING THAT GOES TO THE INTERCOOLER AND ANOTHER LARGE PIPE THAT COMES FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE TURBO THAT GOES TO THE AIR FLOW METER
Then you have two small pipes ONE FROM THE COMPRESSOR HOUSING THAT ONE GOES TO (C) ON THE AMAL VALVE THEN ANOTHER SMALL PIPE THAT COMES FROM THE ACTUATOR THAT GOES TO (W) ON THE AMAL VALVE
