as above im thinking about making a removable slam panel for ease and convenience of removing the radiator etc then replacing it with a bolt on replacment my concern is that it wont be mot friendly and will then have to be welded back in place for it to be road worthy........................any ideas on this matter i have seen these before on track cars but never a road car.
Best thing to do mate would be to go to where you get you car m.o.t and ask them i cant see it being a problem if its secure
Thats what i was going to do but as i had to strip the head and turbo off on friday night started to get to work at 6pm by then the mot centre was shut and wont be open till tomorrow (monday) just thought i could do it before i had to start stripping the rad out etc to aid removel but had to do it the long winded way until its confirmed with a high person (m.o.t. inspector) and who are we to argue with them eh???
