Default running on three!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a wierd prob.

after i give my rs a good hammering the car seems to run on three cylinders.

BUT!!!!!

When i pop the bonnet and disconnect the HT lead from cylinder3 and slightly touch the lead of the top of the spark plug, then it will fire up the cylinder again.

when i connect it properly again it goes back to running on three.

New Leads and new plugs being used.
would leaking valve seals have anything to do with this???

cheers

has to be lead or plug if it gets better and worse when u tamper with it

could have a dodgy lead even if it is new

try a old 1 in its place to see if it fixes itself
