i doubt u will get any chatter mate, coz the metering unit on mfi rs turbos deadends the sound,

i used all types of filter on mine, the ram air i use at the moment, has the best suction sound when boosting IMO

Without EFi mate you will be very lucky to hear any real chatter. I run loadsa boost and a cone filter and hear very little

Still ditch the DV though mate as they are a bit pants and the way the ERST management works means they get upset when they are fitted with one.

i dunno why but i get some chatter on mine, was actually quite impressed! with MFI too - i don think its maent too chater either as every other erst mfi ive been in doesnt do it. maybe mines fucked

Dont DRILL the airbox, take the full front off the top bit (lid) and dont run a d/v

only way u can get rid of the airflow meter (metering unit i'd call it probably?) is to go EFI.
