Default Headlampwashers, option?

Did the Escort RST ever come with headlampwashers as a factory option?
I'm going to look at one tomorrow who has these fitted. The owner says it's not aftermarket but genuine from Ford , very rare. Is this true?
here some pics of the car:

The car is in Holland but I don't think they have other options over here compared to the UK.
And yes from the pictures it looks a real minter, hope it looks the same when I'm there.

Don't let the pics woo you too much. I viewed a FRST that was described as mint. The piccies looked awesome. When I drove silly miles to view it I was gutted to be greeted by what can only be described as a polished turd

I have seen these fitted to a standard S2 RST before that I was considering buying and they were exactly as in the pictures above. They were apparently not an option when new but Ford retro fitted them a few months later at his request

Car looks nice

yes you're right, the washer jets are definately genuine Ford stuff, (as I was told)and retrofitted on request, especially in Germany. In Germany they also have headlamp leveling control

From what date did they come with the light grey interior, different bumper, spoiler? I thought this was on the '90 spec cars.
Mine is from August 1989 and has these, together with the new bumper and spoiler?.

Could be something that the owner installed himself Jo.

Don't you think?

That's correct my car was build in January '89 and on the outside it is pre '90 spec. But inside there is already the light grey Zolda Interior. I have seen it on other cars here in germany aswell.
