5th injector idea
Hello all
I have a spaire inlet manifold and was thinking, would i be able to replace the cold start injector with a cossie injector not sure which one but one that suplys lots of fuel, would it be a straight swap? ie bolt stright in?
I have already got myself a metering head set up for 18psi but would be good as a fail safe i could switch on for top end runs etc for that little bit of extra cooling/fueling
Thanks Paul.

it would getting the injector to fit, i would say it could spray more fuel into the inlet rather than the cold start valve, because thats what they use on the mf2 5th injector setups

im looking at the manifold infront of me and wether it is std or not im not sure but it looks like the injector sparys into a compartment then there is a big tube that takes fuel from there which then goes into a hole just before the choke flap so that would be the same as sparying it in the boost circuit?
Is this how all inlets are? or is that pipe just for excess fuel to circulate threw system?

5th injector set ups are a very crude way of getting extra fuel. they do work but there is no way of making sure that each cylinder is getting the same amount of fuel which may lead to some cylinders running lean and others too rich.
