Just got a s2 rst and tried to test how much boost it had. it was running only 0.3 so I changed the actuator for a second hand one from a turbo specialist . its out as far as it can go but the car will only go to 0.5 then drops off to 0.4 can any one tell me what the prob could be!!!
I was told it was a new turbo in it which sounds fine and also that its chipped

 

er, thats running just a tad over std boost best way to up the boost is to use a bleed valve, but makesure u go tthe fueling to match it, leave it to a Specialist as TO many ppl fuck about with boost and blow engines!!!

 

Surely you want to wind the actuator in for more boost

 

and use pis!..not bar!...

don't use a bleed valve as mentioned above! They are an absolute waste of time, only amatuers use those bloody things! Do yourself a favour and take it to someone who knows what they are doing, otherwise you could cost yourself your engine.
