Hello all
I have just bought an amal valve it has 2 pipes on it and a third one with no piping on it opressumably the one the bleed valve would go to its labled r.
I have tried blowing through r but it is blockd off so i have run poitive and negative to it and i still can not blow or suck through it.
I would have thought by putting power to the two conectors it would open up the circuit is it bust?
Any pics or tips on how these fuckers work muco apricated thanks Paul.

Why did you buy an Amal valve? Is it a replacement for one already there?
I assume you know its a form of boost control?
Yes mate,there supposed to click

Anyways, as discussed earlier, sounds to me as though the valve is nackered - they definately are meant to click when you run a postive feed to them (the sound you hear is the internals moving).
As for plumbing, i've had a look in the haynes but the detail is crap... it says "mark the hose locations at the solenoid and remove..", really helpfull

Best thing to do is search the web for piccies of how to plumb it in, but i suggest you first get a valve that works
