Default anti roll bar , what one to use

i have a combi van soon to be producing over 200 bhp, currently there is a standard anti roll bar on there and is lowered on konis, handles great , but seeing as im about to get a bernie box i figured i could use my series one anti roll bar , are they really worth using ?

or should i keep what i have , i dont wanna upset the balance of the car , but if there is a chance of better handling then of course id like that too.

i need to decide before i order my gearbox.....

Good move if you are going to get fully adjustable suspension parts in the future. I have adjustable TCA's, ARB and rear tie arms at the moment, transformed the handling and grip while pulling away is awesome because all of the tyre is on the ground.

remember if you use a mk3 roll bar you'll need a mk3 casing for the gearbox mounts

Mk1/series 1/mk3 same difference if you said RS turbo
and this is perfect if you use a mk3 subframe assuming a mk3 rollbar wont fit on a mk4 subframe (i assumed when you said mk3 rollbar you meant the whole mk3 front setup (subframe)

No.
if your only changing the anti-roll bar then there is no need for a mk3 gearbox. (sory mate my mistake) i only assumed you would use the mk3 subframe as i dont think the mk3 roll bar fits the mk4 subframe
Although, i cant remember if a mk3 box fits a mk4 ok but not vice versa

The end casings are different on a mk3 and mk4 gearbox. You need a mk3 box to use a mk3 ARB
