That's EXACTLY how it should be fitted, it's fine mate
Took one out of a Black RST I sold on - no problems there, whoever told you that needs a wake up call

pmsl cheers pal, i think i actually spoke to wayne on the phone when i bought it and he was a really helpfull and nice guy.

It was just that if pro-alloy tell me i've not fitted it correctly then thought it'd just be interesting to check it out

He is right now it's been explained, u just need the rubber spacer to put behind slam panel to move it back a touch

Front the front you can't see as I think he is talking about the 'from above' picture

Nothign to worry over, the rubber spacer costs a massive 34pence mate
