Default Car pulls side to side over bumps!

Hi, at the weekend i fitted some spax adjustable shocks on the front, second hand, also a second hand cv joint the one closest to the hub on the passengers side as my mate broke a turbo up and my cv joint was making a funny noise so i replaced it...

The noise has gone now, but if i go over a bump from over 30mph the car pulls voilently to the right as the car levels, and sometimes it will pull back to the otherside just as violently!, i think im gonna end up in the other lane soon its that bad!

do u have to replace cv joints in pairs?, the one i put on looked quite new

i have tried the shocks on the hardest setting, and the softest but its still the same!!

Could the passengers side cv joint being replaced has caused the drivers side to get worse?
any ideas?

it didnt do it on the ford shocks, its 30mm lowered on 16's with 205/40's on them, steering rack/trackrods ends are all new.

I've seen some Spax front shocks go bad at the bottom where it clamps to the hub-carrier. See that it's not bent or othervise damaged there. Also check the camber visually by looking at the car from the front. Also toe-settings are worth checking, front and rear.

Make sure your anti roll bar nuts are nice and tight. I had the same problem. Turned out one of them had worked its way loose.

Cheers

the shocks looked ok at the bottom, im thinking the cv joint on the drivers side has gone, coz now when i turn right on full lock i get a cracking sound!
