Default Is this normal? Head question.

Hi guys, I’ve just stripped my cylinder head down after removing the valves I noticed these markings. My other head doesn’t have them. Is it just manufacturing marks? Cheers

As Haz says, normal markings. A decent head polish will get rid of them and prevent carbon build up to a degree.
