Hey Folks,


Im currently stripping an engine for my Brother in Law for general inspection and rebuild.


The engine was in his 1985 S1 RST, which I think isn't the standard engine. Im no Ford man so looking for some guidance if possible.


The block has the following casting no's,
88SM 6015
BA
LHA
91K 3B
19J


The head has the following casting no's
91SM 6090
K750A
1.6 AA


I've searched high and low on the web and im struggling to find any definitive guides on the casting numbers.


So im thinking I have an Escort EFI block year 88 and with a year 91 MFI head from a Fiesta RS Turbo???


Any help or guidance would be appreciated folks, I need to know for ordering parts.
