Default Boost problem

Unfortunately I have had a little accident with my rst :/ The road was wet and my breaks blocked and I smashed into the rear of another car, that I didn't realize was stopping before it was to late, i was driving around 20-30 mph :/

The exterior damage is being taken care off. BUT after the accident the car won't boost past 0 psi. It shows vacuum at -18-20 psi as normal, but no boost.

Turned my actuator a bit and it now makes around 5 psi of boost, but it doesn't come on as it should, instead of boosting when I hit around 3000 rpm, It now needs to go all the way up to about 4000-4500 rpm before boosting.

I haven't had the chance to take it apart yet, but som thoughts of what the problem could be would be very appreciated! Besides the boost problem the car still runs smooth.

Cheers!

you have probably bent the actuator bracket and therefore it dont have the right preload no more, so you need to start repairing ore replace the bracket and*then the actuator must be adjusted with the right preload

But as said many times before get it setup proberyl if you have any doubt ore you will kill another enigne

Thank you for your answer
But, I will kill another engine? I haven't killed an engine? And I'm not tuning on my own, I'm just trying to get the car back to normal.

Oh i have a fan! Dumb ass

The last engine had nothing to do with my driving, neither did it have anything to do with me or my dad trying to tune the car.. the boost have never been above 7 psi. And since you are that smart, I guess you are well aware of that it is a 30 years old car, and that many of them are shit. No I'm not an rst expert, and I've only owned the car for 2,5 years, not to mention the sorry state it was in at the moment i bought it, but at least I'm trying and have done a lot the past 2,5 years with the budget of a student and a part time job. And the funny thing is, that I've been told about your car a million times and how often it's stranded in the workshop

Overvej din sladder og kilden til den, idiot. hils Jesper

Are you sure of that, ive seen the video you have put online .... And yes I know the cars are near 30 yr, but if you are concentrate on having it running in stead of having T-hansen gauge and other smart ass suff that dont get the car running proper.

Yes My car are also from time to time in the workshop, but funny that its be maintenance
and Yes I have also tryed to kill a engine and a gearbox, im not saying I havnt, like someone do

you have one of the best next to you that have tryed to tuned it and telling you what to do, but you still go down to buy smart ass racer boy stuff in stead of hearing what they tell you.

And then you come on here asking about the same, so who are the Dumb ass here

Ja jeg overvejer skam det, men nĺr man nu ligge en masse lort op pĺ instagram sĺ kan jeg skam selv tolke ud af det..

You two

Get the intercooler pressure checked, you may not see the damage. Having said that, I'd imagine you would hear it if it was leaking.

Check the actuator rod and bracket, most likely culprits
