I'm not havin much luck in the rust department at the mo

I didn't realise mine was bad till i went to get the pump replaced and when the bracket came off so did the fixing and pile of rust

Now there is nowhere for the bracket to go and the pump is held on with 3 cable ties

Has anyone elses bracket rusted away? and if so, what did you do? i can't see anyone wanting to buy a car that's as DIYd as that

You can get the bracket and the fixings from ford still ,replaced mine when i did me under body

 

The big bracket comes with the large rubbers on ,the fixings to the car are bolts that go through the boot floor(stuck down to it )and the brackets bolted on ,hope this helps ,expecy to pay £30-£40.
