Hi can anyone tell me what the flow rate is for an escort on cosworth management or a Sierra cosworth

 

Try asking jano OKC he'll tell you. I think it's 2bar and 2.5 with reg pipe off best ask jano tho.

 

I did tell him via txt

3bar at idle wih vac
3.5bar at idle without vac

That's fine I no what pressure it should be but isn't there an amount of fuel over an amount of time ? I was told you can have pressure but not quantity

 

That's correct, flow and pressure are two different things... Almost any pump will hold pressure at idle, but that doesn't mean it will flow enough to hold that same pressure at full load for example.
I'm not exactly sure what you are asking but if you have chosen a fuel pump capable of flowing for your desired BHP and your fuel pressure is set correct for your injectors and map you should be fine.

 

Thanks for that I just got a cheep pump off eBay for £30 so I will have to get a better pump that's probely half my problem
