Hi there people!! sorry its been so long since I've posted but been doing a full resto on my s2,unfortunately i cant upload photos but its fully stripped went to the welders today to have floor pans both sides outer sills rear chassis legs and rear passenger arch and a bulkhead put in.....!! as you can read its very poorly but I've refused to give up. I'm looking for some chrome vin plates to be made does anyone know of anyone on here that does that kind of thing???P.S how do i load photos into a thread not computer literate just want to share my hard work with you all!!

 

Wasn’t lying in the title! Thought I would throw a few pics of the old girl up as she is going for set up this Friday then a few bits left to do when she gets back, it’s been a long road with work and family commitments but we are nearly over the line, I know she won’t be to everyone’s taste as it isn’t standard but she is mine and that’s what I like!

thank you for your comment, fingers crossed it’s all good last time it went the head gasket was leaking so was aborted and then had to source and get a new head redone as the old one was knackered but second times a charm! Here’s some of the underside aswell should be like a new car when finished!

You are right there! Well that’s is she has gone to James at autodynamix so hopefully in a few weeks she will be all up and running and ready for a mot and some use for a change!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🤞🏽

cheers bro, unfortunately the set up didn’t go to plan it’s dumped all its engine oil over James floor and wouldn’t go in gear so had to go pick it up, I guess it’s back to the drawing board! I will get there eventually 🤣🙏🏽

im trying mate, it does get you down though you know, it was meant to be done last year and now its this year and still problems!! Owned it since 2011 but only actually been on the road for 3 years in that time 🤣🤦🏼 I’ll keep you updated on how she is doing, can’t touch her for a while now as working away in the week and had a weekend job for about a month so she is shelved again for now!
