Has anyone stripped apart a cvh water pump...was it hard?did you have special tools...cheers.

Why on earth do you want to strip one? If its no good just renew it.

Long story short..My zvh block hasn't been drilled and tapped for a spacer...engine builder (whoever he was) simply modified the water pump...perhaps he didn't like the idea of drilling into the block...anyway thats not helping me so will have to adapt a new one in a similar fashion hence the queston....

I presume 1 end of the shaft could be drilled or ground off allowing you to dismantle the pump. Then maybe have it welded back together?
