Default EFi Troubles

Having sucessfully converted the car to Efi using a ofam ecu i may have run into issues with the clocks. I know that the rev counter on mfi doesnt read but is it the same for the temp and petrol levels too?

Im asking as I have just done a 50 mile round trip and according too the petrol level used up half a tank. Im 99% sure there are no fuel leaks and im pretty sure even a 2.1 couldnt use that much.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Your fuel sender and associated loom etc is completely independent of your engine management system. You have a sender in the tank and the wiring is amongst the car loom (with the lights and everything else) ran through to the clocks (likely via a fuse but you get the idea), so if there is any problem it is not to do with your OFAM.

I take it you don't have a wideband to see if you are running mega rich. If it were me in that situation I'd carefully recheck the whole system for a leak visually and then check the plugs for signs of rich running and go from there.

Edit: Did the car behave as expected? And no obvious signs of rich running like bogging down, popping and banging excessively on overrun or anything you could smell as you were driving?

Just had another read of your post - do you have a mix of EFI and MFI on these:

Clocks
Car loom
Fuel tank (specifically the sender unit)

I briefly had an MFI tank and sender and EFI clocks and my gauge was usable but worked in reverse so I went back to MFI clocks and just adjusted the potentiometer on the back to get them to read RPM from the EFI coilpack signal correctly.
