Default Central locking issue.

Reconnected the battery on my escort today to turn it round in the garage.

Pushed the keyfob and the doors unlocked and locked again straight away.
If you open the door using the key the doorlock motor just keeps trying repeatadely unlock/lock/unlock/lock until you close the door?!?

Can anyone shed any light as to why it might be doing this?
The car is fitted with a Toad a606 alarm.

Is your bonnet still up or your boot open? Mine does that with my Clifford alarm when my bonnet is still up.

Had this turned out it was the alarm doing it so disconnected it from the locking

I had that smiler problem some thing to do with the drivers door speaker pod where all the wiring is, loose connection or some thing, try moving the wires about it might connect and work for the time being.

Thats what i was doing inal lol, not only that but my drivers window use to go up and down really slowly, passenger one would go down but not up, use to have to wiggle the blocks to get them to work, i ended up cutting thr blocks out and crimping them, elecy windows work good now and so does central locking
