Reconnected the battery on my escort today to turn it round in the garage.

Pushed the keyfob and the doors unlocked and locked again straight away.
If you open the door using the key the doorlock motor just keeps trying repeatadely unlock/lock/unlock/lock until you close the door?!?

Can anyone shed any light as to why it might be doing this?
The car is fitted with a Toad a606 alarm.
