Default EDIS and Coilpack

Morning all,

I've finished my EFi conversion now and I'm trying to get the car started. I've only got 10v ignition live at the EDIS so I know I have a problem there but what should the voltage be on the coil outputs? I'm guessing that should be 12v too?

Cheers,

Lee

Ok, I've sorted it now. Had a bad earth to the EDIS module, a continuity test found that out. The EDIS should have 12v ignition live to pin 8 and should have earth to pin 9. All 3 pins on the coil harness should have positive 12v with the ignition on and the engine off. The edis switches the outer 2 pins to earth to fire the coil.

To test the coil, you should get about 3-6 Ohm resistance across the middle pin and one outer pin Of the coil loom connector and 13-16K Ohm across 2 common lead posts (I.e. 1&4 or 2&3)

Anyway, she's finally alive!
