Please tell me thats a joke...

Techni clutch's are standard clutches with painted pressure plates. Just google "techni clutch problem/issue" and you will find every type of car forum full of people having nothing but problems.

I think the low prices makes people give them a punt but really not worth it.

If you are after an organic clutch for an ERST go for AP.

I'm running the 2000-8, cost me Ł300.
Also needs a mk6 pedal and preferably and alloy quadrant. So nearer Ł400.

Same here, remember with the Mk6 pedal you need the rubber if you bought new. I advise a scrapyard for the rubber cause its ridiculous from dealers. I got mine free.

Think i got the pedal and newer quadrant from dealers using part numbers.

IMO alloy quadrant isn't needed for this clutch, the plastic one modified does the job perfectly. My pedal feels identical to original now. Nice feel to it.

My pedal is a touch heavier than std as I had to shorten the arm's travel due to a pull type slave on a hydraulic set up, but its still a very very nice clutch compared to the Helix.

i had a mk2 escort atmo cossie with the 7 1/4" race clutch and flywheel, and i thought that was better than the helix 6 paddle pedal feel lol

AP for rs turbos aslong as they are fitted with the mk6 pedal mod.

my fiesta has a helix organic in and its terrible to drive
