Default are s1 and s2 pistons different??? :O

my friend broken an s1 and an s2. We are wondering, have they different pistons???
The booth are std original parts, but the tops are different...
I have to change the 3rd piston in my s1, cause its broken, but by burton is just 1 kind of rst piston is aviable.What i have to buy?

The small "halfmoon" on the top of the piston is smaller on the s1's, if you know, what i mean.
And also the material thickness, but its not to see :P

As far as i know they used the same pistons. I dont remember them having two pockets to be honest. Either way looking at your pistons the one the right it has kissed the valve a few times. May be the one on the left has been machined at some point to stop this from happening would be my guess. I do remember when it changed my pistons, the new ones where a 100% pocketed both inlet and exhaust.

What you might have there are a set EFI pistons as the S1 & S2 where MFI.

Never seen an EFI ERST piston so i wouldn't know but they did use a slightly y different head so they may of needed just that little bit of extra clearance.
