A good friend of mine has just bought a very tidy S1 however it has a small running problem, I know it is difficult to pinpoint over the internet but was looking to see if anyone has had a similar problem or suggestions.

The car runs great, with no nasty noises or smoke and when cold drives well. However when it gets up to operating temperature, it won't boost even if you try and feather it in - it just backfires and doesn't like it. It was recently set up and produced 174bhp and was running lovely however this issue has just raised its head. Its still on MFi.

I thought it may be some kind of sensor that is breaking down as it gets hot, however not sure if this is common or which ones to check. Its also quite similar to my old Cossie where it was like the spark was getting blown out under load.

Any suggestions welcome.
