Easiest way to fit a new engine mount???
Hi all, got my vibra engine mount through and eager to fit it. Just wondering what the easist way to fit one is when the engine is still in the car?
I would have thought just dropping the engine down a bit and fiddling with it would be the only way?
Any advice appreciated

raise car onto AXLE STANDS.

Support engine with a trolley jack, block of wood between jack and sump. Unbolt the mount and replace with new mount.

pretty much as said, dead easy in an escort, just the bolts to undo from block and the two through the chassis.
definitely use stands though, you need to get drivers side wheel off the ground to get to the bolt through the arch.

Good point about the wheel coming off, I was thinking the bracket to the engine.
