Default rust me baby, one more time!!!

had the afternoon off and decided to hoover the rs out.

also decided to check the new floor pans as these were welded by a previous owner, noted that the passenger was a little damp so decided to unbolt both seats, and whisk the carpet and soundproofing out to find that both rear passenger floor pans are rusting again. now this was sorted, got photo evidence, new proper floor pans and sealed underneath.

underneath is still solid so where is the water coming from?????
ive uploaded some photos for you to look at. gonna leave her to dry out few days and hopefully ill get some good advice to look for

now the drivers floor pan is original, was never welded, passenger front was and is little damp, but the rear nearside is the worst

Not bothered to open pics but 90% chance of it being rear light seals

ok batt tray ill look into, might explain the front floorpan area, but the rear im struggling with, if the sunroof pipe has been blocked welded not sure what to do about it, i could dry it all out and soak it with a hose to work out where its coming from

Until recently my carpet would always get slightly damp if there was alot of rain. It was the fuse box, and that would run all the way to the back footwell whilst parked on my driveway.

So yeah, if its passenger side I would check the battery tray, also might be worth whipping the dash out as they can sometimes rot where the bulkhead meets the wheel arch or just underneath the windscreen.

I think as well you might have to grit your teeth and get poking around that seat mount. Looks a bit crispy.
