Recently bought a new OFAM ecu from rob on here. Decided too upgrade too the VE Analyze live however it has now decided too ruin the map that i had put some time and effort into. The car will not idle now and despite all my efforts i cant add any more fuel the afr is showing 21-22 on the guage.

I cant get hold of rob too talk me through it and i am seriously gutted so any advise would be greatly apprciated.

I'm guessing you did not keep a back up of your previous MSQ?
If adding more fuel in doesnt change the AFR then you have a problem!
You are changing the cells in the bottom left hand corner of the VE table yeah?

thanks for the reply karlos. it was a very newbie error and i hadnt set the filters on the advanced setting so it was trying too tune my idle what also didnt help was my wideband wasnt talking too the ecu properly. managed too hold of rob in the end and he managed too talk me through it all.

will now be saving backups as i go just incase this happens again.

I think this is sorted now But the auto tune is a double edged knife, really useful once set up, but if its targeting the wrong afr OR there is the slightest of missfires it really gives it a headache lol

TBH it can only work with the values its told to and i've used it to great success in the past so can't complain too much! But backing up maps is always the best thing to do before making any changes.

Hope its going okay for you mate.
