Default Passo side drive shaft removal- help needed ASAP

Guys,

Out here trying to remove passo side drive from the box, shud it just pull out like the drivers side, I have the top nut on the suspension undone, arb and control arm are off, cheers Simon

Probably stuck on the circlip, use a prybar/lever to pop it out, levering against the gearbox

Same as drivers side; like all engineering problems like this you just need more leverage

Or try putting pressure on one side with a lever, and knock the lip away from box with a rubber mallet, worked a treat for me, just levering it was marking the casing so I knocked it with a mallet and it popped out easy.

K cool the shock is still in the hub, shoud there still be enough? My engineering skills usually consist of lumping until it moves but I was not sure and didnt want to break it raging now. The rhs was no problem, the lhs was a nightmare. Arb won't come out of control arm, track rod end had to be cut off, broke my alley key taking off the top mount!

I unbolted the inner mount of the arm which gave plenty of movement with a bit of strength, even with poly top mounts.
