Default Puma gear linkage.

Does anybody have any photo's of theirs?

Offered mine up today and it doesn't look right at all. What did people do about the big hole thats left in the floor? Also, did you need to bend/re-shape the gearstick itself?

the gear stick sits further forward though.

The rods are the same length but the gearstick mech housing is shorter. Just wondered how people dealt with the big hole it left at the back near the puma mount?

This is what I mean. I got both linkages, put a long tube of metal through the support bars so the rods are in exactly the same place and this is how the sticks look:

The blue circle showing roughly where the whole in the floor is.

Fit it to the box first . Lift it up on a jack to get it into the tunnel and centalise it to where it wants be . Drill 2 holes in the tunnel and fit 2 bolts . You can then fit the inner gaitor as pictured by Luke which covers the rest of the hole .

Its an absolute doddle

sorry to bump this up again guys im fitting one today and when i push the selector up into the car to mark the floor for the two holes that need to be drilled there is a gap between the floorpan and mount. do you use spacers to fill the gap or grind the mount to the shape of the floorpan so it sits flush with the floor? anyone got an pictures of the underside with it all bolted in place? cheers nick.

Is that the two at the back ? Think I tapped them with a m6 thread and used long bolts. Will try to get a picture later.

yes luke the two that are on the mount itself. ive fitted it with the old plate like in the pic you posted and it selects gears fine just need to tweak it a little. i was going to use some spacers and nut/bolt it to the floorpan but im just unsure with the gap. if you could post a picture it will all become clear mate, cheers.
