1.8 cvh rsturbo
Hey Forum,
I'm planning to drive my escort RS turbo again. The last time i drove it was in 2006
So I did the conversion to 1.8 zetec lower block with the cvh head+turbo. Already installed the -31 actuator and piper cams (not sure anymore what type the cam was).
The original ecu is the one with the heart/diamond/fence version.
My question is: what is the difference between this ecu with the symbols (heart/diamond etc) and the colored blocked one (blue /red...etc)? Are these ecu's exchangable with each other? How about a chipped ECU? do you think I can use a chipped ECU with the colored version in my car?
I'm not going to ask what chip is the best for the RS turbo since i've read that basically it doesnt make a difference, as far as I understand from my readings in the available forums.
Happy to hear your comments. Thanks in advance.
regards
