so for those of you that can remember this far back, but did the s2 ever come with front and rear mud flaps on the car as standard???

because i never see any with and those that do im wondering if they have been added.

if they did come with and everyone just removes them, where can i get a set of original standard ones?

id say an extra, i had an xr3i cab that had some on that looked like they came from new?

No I dont think they did??? and if they did I think it was just the rears

ford did both front and rear flaps for a S2
not seen many but i had one that had the flaps which were moulded around the kit like newer cars have. had ford embossed and the original ford scissor clips

I believe my mudflaps on my series 2 are orginal or just a extremely well made mudflap for Series 2 Escorts as they mold round the arches/bumper and have the ford logo like engraved on them (all black). Will get a pic for you mate...

ok mate top stuff, also that black number plate on you G reg, is black something i can have on a H reg?

No mate there ilegal number plates unless you want to get fined £60 all the time. The black and silver pressed metal plates are for Pre 1973 vehicles if im correct..
