Hi fellas
Im after a buying '4x4' in chrome lettering that is the same font and shape as the escort rs style.
now i have looked on ebay and auto specialist but cannot find '4x4' , some crap versions on ebay but they are not the same.
Its for a gift for the lad that came over to help me with my rs work this weekend and he is in need of 2, one for the o/s wing and boot corner, so i thought id would be a nice gift.
Can anyone help on this?

These cars did not actually leave the factory with the 4x4 badges on the wings,
They only had them on the boot, however alot had them put on after I believe.
Your best off trying on the rs2000-16v site, Usually a few for sale.
They are pretty rare though

Certainly in Mk6 guise the "4x4" badges were on the wings and "16V" was on the boot as they left the factory. Many changed the boot ones to "4x4" to show the difference.
For confirmation of wing badges check "The Ford Car Range - Edition 1 1996" Page 24 features Red Rs2000 4x4.
Cheers, John
PS. Sure I have some badges too but I just looked and I couldn't find them - I'll keep looking.
