what did they weigh in at?

what mkods have you done to get it down

 

I think mine was low 900 with me in it
Thats was the old spec and it has changed a little bit since

829kg with fluids

 

Eat some under cooked chicken, That'll shed a few lb's

my s2 was 900kg, got a mk3 now any ideas on was to get it down?

 

Mine has carbon bonnet, bumpers and grill, fibreglass boot and spoiler
Plastic windows and that's about it for now

Will be getting carbon roof doors and wings
Maybe dash and then change some brackets for carbon ones

Gus, have you had the hole cutter out wherever possible?
A bloke i used to work with raced XR2's, there was holes cut out everywhere, even when the doors were opened, below the latch mounts all the way to the floor!

 

im not a fan of that, although i want it light it still has to be pleasing to the eye lol

i will do it in places that are not seen i think

 

Mines got no rear floors sills wings or arches
Or engine so 500 lol

 

Mines 940odd kg with me in and 1600e leather...

The orion is quite abit lighter than the mk4 escort in stock form tho...

 

I had mine done last year with the 17's, the sound system in the boot but still had my standard front brakes on, without me it weighed 1043kg

 

mines 880kg with a full tank of fuel.Its well stripped out as most people know.
