exhaust trouble
Hi all im hoping you can shed some light on a matter with my brand new mongoose 3 inch exhaust. Its all new but been in my loft for about four years and i didn't check it when first purchased and now ive come to fit it im getting a bit of ball ache with it.To start the back box wont go over the next section as if its slightly oval which im sure i can sort, the next problem is when looking through the tail pipe you can see light through the end of the back box were the weld looks like its not been finished this is what it looks like.
I know from being a vehicle tech for 13 years that standard exhausts have very small pin holes in places to drain water from the inside to slow corrosion but pretty sure a stainless system would not have this.Has anyone got a mongoose system which is like in the picture so i know its normal or not many thanks.

Yeah seen another thread similar to this, apparently workers sometimes stop for breaks/brew/fag and forget to finish where they left off, like 1 in 100 were like this. They did replace the box FOC but it's probably much easier for you to get it welded with stainless at an exhaust place for the price of a can of coke.
