Default 175hp @ 16psi atw

had car checked today since fitting new turbo and made 175hp at the wheels, fuelling is cock on. at the lower boost level 9psi it made 130hp atw. quite pleased with that for a nearly std car.

Are you sure that 175 was atw? What turbo you running? That's brilliant power for a nearly standard engine! What's the spec?

figures dont really intrest me but i gotta say, i was quite impressed. as far as i know its std head/cam ect and running a 3' scorpion, fmic, sitech chip, .48 turbo with 60 trim. not sure if its ported ect but i doubt it. was definitly at the wheels. made 130 at 9 psi. and 175 at 16psi

i didnt get aprintout unfortunatly, i just went for fuelling setup since fitting a new turbo. the operator just told me the output and seemed quite impressed and said it was healthy. ive no idea of how correction factors work ect. im guessing its about 190 at the fly, 200hp been on the optimistic side. most of the 200hp cars have headwork and hotter cams dont they?

Sounds about right for a .48/60 on an otherwise stock car.

karlos, as a man who understands efficiency, what gains can be had from a well designed gas flow on the same relative setup? ie how much power can be added just through a better breathing head.

proper management is going to come later.

With your turbo there is a fair bit to be gained with a nicely flowing head and cam, maybe 20-30bhp at the same boost level.
