How much work was the splitter to fit, I take it it needed sectioning?

lower section of the bumper is actually a saff bumper grafted in to get the angles and fitment for the splitter

Twins: I love the lengths you go to, to make things fit!
I fitted a Laguna / Espace splitter on my Saff years ago, they're pretty flexable, so should bend to suit the bumper shape. Only thing is there's a lip on the bottom of the Saff bumper, but don't think there is on the Escort, which might make thing harder...

Twins, what door handle do you have? Look well smooth and flush. Hmm leguna does fit well and is a fuck load cheaper

Hi mr west bit of a late reply, if you are interested in a Renault leguna splitter I had mine fitted about 6 years ago, there not a straight forward fit the middel section needs to be cut to shorted it as it's too wide and both sides need to be cut level with the side of the bumper and as for fitting it you will have to make up some fixings for it to attach to your 90 spec bumper, I had mine done at the bodly work garage here's a few pictures.

I had that changed and went for a Ford RS front splitter this was custom fitted to my 90 spec front bumper because they where only designed to fit the 88 spec bumpers which looks a lot better than the Renault leguna splitter.

I only run one bolt each side ,makes life a lot easier to get the bumper off

Might end up doing this myself. Not that I intend on removing it often, but it's necessary with the lack of room with front mount etc. literally against the bumper.

It'd be good if ther was enough room in the side mountings under the wing to allow a couple washers behind the bumper so it mounts with a bit more clearance from the cooler.
