60mm drop on 17's will surely be a struggle?!?

I've got spax fixed rate and a 25mm drop on my car. They are ok but can be a crashy at times.

I'm having the same problem at the moment! Want a better ride in my car, was considering buying a used set of koni's with a 40mm drop on fleabay but thought I might just wait a bit as I want to get my car on road first Have seen the spax around quite a lot.. Looking for a 40mm drop on 15" .. Want something that can handle the pot holes etc in my area as I have loads of shitty roads, the ones I have on my escort atm aren't doing the car justice, its a really hard ride. I think the springs at the back are sagging the car down.. Would getting new springs help at all if I keep the shocks as it is and just get some Spax springs?

I've got Koni adj with 35mm spax springs I would go for koni's all the way I've had mine on the car for the past 9 years now and not a single problem.

tejy don't go for Spax springs my first set on of them snapped in half after 5k on the road and there customer service is shit not worth the hassel.

I've had to replace two of my spax springs in the last 2 years. So I'm guessing Koni's would be the winner.

Its on the to do list once other stuff is finished.

The only problem with the koni's is the price. Its about £500-600 for front and rear adjustable's.

Im pretty sure its only G-max which do a 60mm spring... which kind of says it all

Sounds like Koni shocks have gone up in price like most things, as for Gaz coilovers I don't know any one that has had them fitted and can say what they are like in handing but I've heard people having a few problems with fitting the rear's.
