My escort turbo MFI is getting no fuel to 3 and 4.

At the moment nothing is happening on 3 and 4 is kinda working. When you take the plugs out they are covered in soot. pot 1 and 2 are spot on and running as they should. Feul pressure to the metering head is 6 bar.

I have done a compression test and all cylinders are at 150psi + so no issuse there.

I have tried 3 different metering units and no joy

All 4 plugs are sparking and i have no air leaks.

Car has 22 litres of fresh fuel in the tank.

Please can someone help as i have run out of ideas

Have you checked that fuel is getting to injectors 3 & 4 by undoing the pipe's and cranking? If it is then sounds like they are not opening, in which case you will probably need a new set of injectors... Which isnt a bad thing as most leak these days and fuel unevenly anyway.

have you also checked you have a pulse to the injector on the multi plug?

It's all MFI so injectors work from pressure. Not sure it can be the injector, when you rev the car cylinder 3 kinda kicks in. Also I took the injector outta cylinder 1 and cranked the car and no fuel come outta the injector and I know that injector work.

Old injectors? Try new ones. Common problem with worn MFI injectors. When you start the car it runs on one cylinder, then on two and slowly 3 and 4 are firing too.
