More advice needed... I took out my escort zvh turbo the othe day for the first time after almost a year of building it .and noticed when I drove it up the road it was making a
Knocking noise which sounded like the drive shaft I was only going very slow in 1st gear
.ive since jacked up the front of the car so the wheels are off the floor and started the engine when I put it in any gear and let the clutch up it seems to make a rumbling and slight vibration noise from the front only when in gear ..Any Ideas??

does the sound go away if you press the clutch in?

Actually im not sure cos when I was driving I was going up hill so I didnt freeroll with the clutch in to see if the noise went...
Its weird cos when I tried it with the wheels off the ground I didnt notice the knocking ..dont km now if it makes a difference but I had too change the passenger side driveshaft for a longer one .cos for some reason the original was too short and kept pulling out of the cv/ knuckle joint on the gearbox side of the shaft..??
