yes, more than likely. once the engine and esp turbo are up to temp, do you see a puff of blue/whitish smoke when you come off boost/press on the loud pedal. not the end of the world but the stink and non stop rear view mirror checking drive you up the wall eventually. new/rebuilt turbo isnt mega money.

new/fresh one is sub £600 and gives you peace of mind. tony turbosystems or wilky can rebuild one at a much lower cost and both know there stuff. they can rebuild your t3 to your spec wether it be stage 2, stage 3, ect. the 360 bearing makes a good difference to turbo life.

would runing 15psi and no dump valve cause my seals to go or is it wear and tare?
The chatter/flutter sounds great but i'd rather have a dump valve fitted if its going to save me turbo.

Wondering the same, mine peaks 20psi and holds 18ish, would prefer without dv but if its advised i may use one.

I may plumb it back in somehow if its too noisy. Not sure if i want a noisy one, unless its got a beefy spring so it closes quick after dumping.
