gus i bloody love your car, is there any issues with clearance? mines lowered 60mm? got my eye on a set of 17s

i run 205 40 17s but im thinking of 195 40s as i dont want to trim my arches

Here's a picture of mine sitting on 17" 7.5 Azev's with 35mm Spax springs and Koni shocks.

I think you'll struggle with a 60mm drop.
My car ran a set of 17x7 Comp Mo's on a 40mm drop and scrubbed the rear arches over bumps. Although I guess its down to the offset.

its my brothers car mate,but cheers,they were on when he bought the car.he keeps on about changing them,but i think they look alright,maybe paint them a graphite grey type colour.oh and yours looks superb

The offset need to be the same as any escort wheel, I think between 35 to 45 work well.

I have some comp 5 spoke on mine 7.5jx17" et 35 and at the moment i have comp th 8jx17" et 37 no mods to the front arches but my rears are trimmed out any way

But you say the fronts on yours aren't cut and they are fine ?

Just front needs spacing ?
I'm fitting new hi spec calipers so need to clear them

I never had to space out my Azev's at the front to clear my Hi spec cailpers and there 6 pots, just about cleared it, if you space them out the tyre will rub the arch.

I fitted my 7x17 et37 superleggera to my mrs s2 and they were fine with no scrubbing

It is in there ,its a bmw e46 sport rear section of bumper chopped in to my escort one ,with the diffuser section modified
