Default master cylinder/servo options

Hi guys, I've bought some 300mm disks with girling 4 pot calipers and braided hoses for my s2 and also will remove the abs. Would the standard servo/master cylinder be OK for these upgrades or should I change, if yes what for

you can use a larger one off a mondeo they work really well but need cutting and welding to the bracket to get it to fit

Use a mk5/6 escort master cylinder and servo made to fit. They came with discs all round and u don't have to cut/beat the inner wing!

Ive used an escort mk6 one but yet to finish the brakes off to try it. Really isnt hard to change the bracket over, ground back and painted black you wouldnt notice.

Ive also heard its hard to get the right master cylinders for rs turbo's now, but ive never searched to find out?

So does the escort one also need chopping about then? Are there no direct replacements?

Well I dont know about the mondeo one, but the Mk5/6 Escort you cant. The bolt pattern on the bulkhead and the back of Servo are different. Easiest thing to do is cut the bracket off at the bulkhead end and weld two rectangular plates on then drill the holes to suit.
