ive just bin offerd a ecu with a super chip the guy says its a plug in 1 in the side of the ecu is this right its a red white and blue ecu i was always told that they were a soilder type and that i should never do it my self ?

thast wot i tho but he rekons it was all fitted and running car got smashed up and now hes sellin it but hes so sure the super chip just plugs in the side

spoke 2 guy again he says there r sum wires that cum out the ecu and it plugs in there im lost now

it maybe one of them old unlimited boost chips, they have 4 wires that solder onto the ecu. fiesta turbo chips plug in.

thats not a super chips chip its some crap make cant think of it at the mo but had one on my S1 7 years ago and i had nothing but probs with it hanging out getting wet wires coming out

get one that fits inside the ecu

the one i had was on a S1, all the connections went crusty & it ran like shite.
think they were called "star chips" not 100% though

they blag the ecu - they are toss.
