Here are some pics of whats inside when you take it apart to give you an idea

Now i did take it apart but other than just cleaning it inside with some thinners I did not touch a thing. It was easy to mask to repaint and the only new item is the gasket so with a bit of powdercoating and paint it ended up with this. All i would say is take apart as little as possible.

Aside from seals and gaskets there is nothing really to service, it's the EMFPA that tend to fail and your fuelling goes all over the place IME.

Air leak is the first thing to check, no vacuum means no flap being sucked down and so no fuel.

When i take the filter off and wind it over the flap bounces if that makes sense but its not till you hold it down it starts. Pretty sure its better when warm?
