No fucking way Roger, thats mad!!!

When i needed insurance at 17 i just went under my parents name, think my 2.0 sierra was something silly like £250 a year like that,

EDIT** I just did a really quick insurance quote for Josh a company called CollingWood came up as £999 on a provisional licence, with 4000 miles a year, a £250 excess and the cars value @ £1000, Third party fire and theft. Drop me a txt if you want and i'll forward you the details. PS the quote was at my address so it might be a bit different for sunny Essex... But some of the other quotes were mad!!

Or maybe we all have a rs turbo we insure and decided to give real advice instead of "yea spend £4000 on insuring a car that's worth half and then next year your save maybe £400"

Do I really care what you pay? No I don't but I'm so glad my opinion is dashed like a old rag on a forum that is built on "opinions"

I'm guessing you either have cash to burn or a rich family because as you may already know... Anyone can loose a job in any sector.

We will tell you what we think because that's what we think is best for you. I hated my first car but it got me from a-b and now have 6 years no claim at 22. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm still driving a rs turbo that is insured. Rant overrrrr

I worked out a person is better off on a provisional licence instead of a full!! To put my 18 year old gf on my rs turbo is £1000 but won't touch her with a full licence. Bring in American insurance and il just sue lol

Your brother needs to learn to shop around then. I'm also 21, in the highest risk postcode, driving 2yrs 10months, and a sr20let s14a is £1200...

Precisely,

except your 21, you have been driving for 2 years and 10 months, you have a full licence, and presumably have ncb.

But apart from that your example was totally relevant.

You said he was 21 and had NCB too? And he's on a lower risk car.

Oh well since you guys bumped this thread here are some pics of mine with new (much needed) rims, and clear indicators. My crappy phone's pics don't do it justice, it looks 3 times better in reality.
