So, you're 19, have a ban, and expect to get insured on an erst? Good luck with that.

read a mag feature of yours twins! such a nice car!!

and I find that a matter of opinion about the insurance chap I wouldn't save much insuring lesser cars, and everything else I'n that bracket to insure is like 9-10k to buy like the focus mk1 rs or the new shape st and I don't want to get my self into debt with finance at 19! plus I enjoyed the fuck out of my old one till I popes the engine pushed it
I'n the corner and forgot about it and sold it for £250 to buy a previous car back.
plus there some what of a childhood dream and the next step for me would be a cossie, the only cossie I could afford to buy is a sapphire and I refuse point blank to pay 6 and half thousand pounds of my monney a year on insuring anything that one I'd be scared to drive 1. leaving it anywere/ and writing it off thinking I was king of the road cause at 19 I be I'n a cossey! that's my opinion anyway and I understand yours completely chap but I'd rither pay that for an erst than say 2000-2500 on a 1.25 mk5 fiesta.

bit of an essay there lads but just wanted to explain why I was willing to pay insurance that's so high!

keep the pics coming though!! I'm swaying more dowager the black and I hate black cars!

TBF that insurance quote isnt too bad at all considering your ban, one of my younger Bro's pays around 3k for his insurance and thats on a Golf GTi, he's 21 with a years no claims and a totally clean license.... Young drivers get raped these days!

3.5k for an old Escort, epic. I'd never pay that much for anything, and if you can get that for 3.5k I'm sure you can get something else cheaper! My mk5 zs was £1200 at 19, and the 200sx I'm getting soon is also £1200, and I'm only 21.

point proven! and every one here saying mines cheaper ect your not I'n the position where you have to and your like 5+ years older with no ban Ect Ect! And yes I can get cheaper insurance on other cars but 1. I don't want other cars and 2. I refuse to pay like 2k on a 1.1 saxo! I refuse to drive a saxo fullstop! so please stop slagging my choice of paying insurance on what car I drive!? or will drive shall I say?

nice pictures aswell guys keep them coming!

I make my own mind up about cars I pay what I think is acceptable for insurance which that is considering I have a ban!! never own a saxo other than to go laning I'n ahaa! I did debate weather to pay 6k for a saph cossie but itd only leave me with 400 a month :/

old "skwll" ford ftw ahaa!

cheers fella and my bed time? no clearly not as I'm not the one making pathetic comments!

Insurance is a rip off! My 17yr old bro has a 1.1L Mk1 Fiesta 1979 and the cheapest quote we can get him is £3600/yr! Thats wrong!

well arsey comments like bedtime isn't needed isit? on top of every one saying it's a rip off when you see how the 17yearolds are paying on the cars they hav to have choice of that or not driving they cut put it off cause it's still expensive when they do? so when you look at how much it would be for meto have an erst compared to a 17 year old with a 79 1.1 fiesta well don't know about you but mines seems cheep!

Don't see your quote being 3k at all! They can guess what its gonna be months down the line. Im 22 6 years no claim at mine is 900 tpft or £1500 fully comp.

The ban won't make much difference but I can't see you getting that quote when it comes to it. Why are you in a rush to get a car that's 20+ years old? Buy a reliable car that will save you lots of cash.
