Default cosworth Mahle pistons
im thinking of getting some cosworth Mahle pistons from nms, are they different to normal Mahle rs turbo pistons or not?

yes more than likely will have different size pins designed for use with steel rods.

As Jano says, i have a set in my car and they take steel rods.

yeah they take steel rods, are they similar to forged pistons or not really?

Nope, im fairly sure they are cast, but NMS have used these skimmed to 300bhp.

I imagine they are hypereutectic aka pressure cast pistons which are stronger than normal cast but not as strong as forged, same as RST Mahle's.
