yeah duk that was the one, i put the boost pipes on, the ht leads on the right way and a gallon of fuel and she went! but the rings are gone as it kept blowing the oil cap off and pumpin oil out the bottom of the dip stick tube so i recon thats why the 'easy' things were off etc. when i took the tubo off for the fez there was a white coloured stuf on the block, peeled it off and water came out, cracked block. RUFF eh?
apart from the engine being goosed it was a right good buy

Thanks. The splitter is a Laguna one. Wanted something a little different, and the pics are quite old now: fitted it about 2003. In fact I took it off when I sold the car in '04 and it's been in the garage since.

Sorry - my mistake, I went different from a laguna as everyone seemed to be fitting them - my mistake.
However: it's off an Ibiza not a Cordoba (unless it's the same item).

There are no decent cordoba's that's why haha.
Yes, everyone seemed to be fitting laguna ones - not just Ford fans but VW as well and the prices were getting higher - if you could get one.
So went for the Ibiza, definately cheaper and not that bad to lok at..well I liked it at the time. Tastes move on don't they, same as the old bodykits people used to fit.

Thing is if the guy had told u, u'd hav prob still bought it as a engine isn't that hard 2 find and it would hav saved u some time as u'd hav just ripped it out and saved what u could off it!
U got another engine or block? If not I can maybe help u with that!

U think it would fit on a frst? Iv got a Laguna 1 on mine under the std 1 which looks ok but looking 4 something 2 replace both of them and put some more air 2 my fmic!

Looks tidy like, as for the engine yeah that's ruff as fook lol!

Iv got a erst block that's was rebored and fitted with over sized mahle pistons, I bought it 4 the pistons took them out and never used them lol, block would need a good clean up!
Also hav a frst block no pistons tho lol
And a 200+bhp frst engine but can't sell that till iv built my zvh! Lol
