Default heater not working..

hi folks,

1990 S2..

the blower does not work. when driving warm air does come/filter out the vents, but no blower is working.

what is the most likely candidate- the switch or the motor or the fuse??

cheers

I would check it in the reverse order, fuse, then motor, switch, the motor is easy to get to, check for live and earth at motor (or even try powering it up) I have seen the motors seized before, never had a problem with the switch tbh

if the motor not running put it straight to the battery few jump clicks can kick start it always leave the switch on at least number one so it works and keeps the motor running !
